Log into the HANA
database with a user id having permission to execute SQL statements

Click on the system
where you want to make the change and then click on the “SQL” button at the
top. This will open the SQL console on the right side of the HANA studio screen.

In the SQL console,
type the SQL statement that you want to execute and then click on the “Execute”
button on the top right corner. For executing multiple statements at once,
write down the statements in each row and click on execute.
4.
At the bottom of the
screen, look
for the result of executing the SQL statement. If the statement has been
executed successfully, it will give a success message with the processing time
or else it will give error if anything was wrong.
